Hello, I am Urich, an English teacher, 王优秀 is my Chinese name. I’ve been teaching English to kids for almost 2 years now. I’ve encountered many delighted moments with students around age of 4 to 12 years old. It’s an amazing, exciting environment full of joy, happy activities. I think children learn the best through enjoyable practical learning where they feel comfortable and ready to learn. Almost every single person in China love to play Basketball especially Chinese kids. I had the opportunity to teach them English language on several occasions. During the summer 2019 one out of many amazing, I was giving class at a training center name “New Concept English Center” located in 上海市 when according to my preference of dressing style (sportive), a lively boy, through the lesson entitled “what’s your Hobby”, He asked: 老师，您的爱好是什么？ To that, I obviously replied: I like to play basketball. Also, it appeared that out of a class of 11 students, more than a half enjoyed the game of basketball and had basketball lessons too. So along with that and under a convenient weather, the center and I agreed to make students more enthusiastic, and create a much livelier, dynamic, bouncier environment. Thus with parents accord, we organized weekly activities which happen to be one of the most unforgettable happiest moment of my time with kids in China. All in all from my experience, I can say with certitude that children learn the best when they are not realizing what they have been taught. For more, please do feel free to let me know.
